Peatland plays a very important cooling role on the Earth overall temperature by capturing and storing Carbon Dioxide (CO2), the major contributor to global Green House Effect. Hence some Tree Planting events are organized by Global Environment Centre (GEC) together with several partners of a public agency, corporate body, and some reputable non-profit organizations (NGOs) in Malaysia, as an effort of rehabilitating Raja Musa Peat Swamp Forest Reserve, an important remaining Peat Farm in Malaysia.

In order to support this meaningful event, RM 5.00 will be donated to sponsor this Event for each Anplas bag sold. Hence, under this first stage of the Green Revolution, we hope to contribute a total amount of RM 15,000 for the 3000 Anplas bags sold (RM 5.00 x 3000 = RM 15,000) to GEC.
